Ryan has been involved with the construction process since his early teenage years. Starting out as a laborer during the summer months between school, Ryan got to be involved in the construction of many fine custom homes throughout Whistler. During his years working in construction he worked on every aspect of residential construction, from site prep and layout through to finishing carpentry. Ryan has been involved in the construction of Innovation’s Lakeside Project, Envirohome Project, and the Palliser Lodge project.
Ryan attended Bishops University, and following in the footsteps of his grandfather, graduated with a Batchelor of Arts Degree majoring in philosophy with a minor in Economics. In addition to his University degree, Ryan has completed numerous CHBA and BCIT training and certification courses for the Construction Industry.
Upon completing University Ryan moved to Vancouver and worked as a carpenter doing custom formwork in High-rise construction for Metrocan. Recently, Ryan has moved back to Whistler and re-joined the Innovation Team as a Project Manager.
As a long time local, and one of the first children born and raised in Whistler, Ryan has a great love of the outdoors. He is an avid skier, mountain biker, hiker, etc. He has watched the town grow from its early formative period to its current iconic world class resort status. As a result of this experience, he is a valued member of the Innovation Team’s Whistler development operations.
